SERIES B AND LATER
Berlin-based Taktile raises €51.5 million to transform how financial service providers automate decision-making

🇩🇪 Berlin-based Taktile, an AI-powered decision automation platform for financial services, has succesfully raised €51.5 million.

Founded in 2020 by Maik Taro Wehmeyer and Maximilian Eber, Taktile empowers risk experts to build, monitor, and optimise automated risk decisions across the entire customer lifecycle—from onboarding and credit underwriting to fraud and compliance transaction monitoring. It sounds like a compelling, complete service.

This startup is not only helping financial services make better decisions, but also improving speed and efficiency. According to the press release, it is enabling risk teams to handle 3-5x more applications and scale rapidly.

In 2024, Taktile quadrupled its customer base and grew more than 3.5x in ARR. Their customer base now spans 24 markets, serving some of the largest financial institutions, such as Allianz and Rakuten Bank. That’s impressive!

🇸🇪 Stockholm-based Lovable, the AI startup behind the “world’s first” AI full-stack engineer and one of the fastest-growing startups globally, has closed a €14.3 million funding round. Great stuff! 🚀

I think I can confidently speak on behalf of many solo-preneurs and say that this may be the AI use case that brings us the most joy.

Founded in 2023, this startup enables anyone to build what it calls production-ready software without coding knowledge. At this point, it should be clear that AI is set to transform software development, making it accessible to everyone—not just developers.

Now, you and I will be able to create apps and websites using natural language.

Just a few months after launching, Lovable has reached €16.2 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), 30,000 paying customers, and 25,000 new apps being built on the platform daily.

Founded in 2023, Dealcar integrates management, payment, and financing solutions in one place to optimise stock rotation and digitise the entire sales process. One of the goals is to reduce stock turnover time from 90 days to 45 days, providing liquidity and confidence to the used car market.

The global used car market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 6.90% from 2022 to 2030. Nice to read! Let’s go Dealcar. 🚗

Well, I think it’s very easy to undertand the problem that this startup is trying to solve.

As AI-powered apps conquer the world, enterprises (and their employees) will need an efficient way to ensure that these apps and services consistently deliver accurate results, in an efficient way.
