Berlin-based Yendou secures €1.2 million to scale its clinical operations automation platform for the pharma industry
🇩🇪 Berlin-based Yendou, aiming to revolutionize life sciences research with a “Salesforce for R&D teams”, has secured $1.3 million in pre-seed funding led by b2venture.
This market seems particularly interesting because, as the funding round press release highlights, it takes an average of 10 to 15 years and up to $2 billion for new medicines to reach the market. That's mind-blowing!

Paris-based Sorella secures €5 million to further strenght its hybrid healthcare offering for female health
🇫🇷 Sorella, a French startup dedicated to women's health, raised €5 million in seed funding just a year after launching its first multidisciplinary health clinic. The round was led by impact investor blisce/, with Vorwerk Ventures also participating.
Sorella follows a “hybrid healthcare model” similar to US-based Tia. This means they offer both physical clinics and digital platforms to provide comprehensive healthcare services to women of all ages, from puberty to post-menopause.

Madrid-based fintech Embat raises €14.7 million Series A to fuel up next-gen treasury management
🇪🇸 Embat, a Spanish fintech focused on “real-time treasury management,” secured $16 million in a Series A round led by Creandum, with Samaipata, 4Founders, and Venture Friends also investing.
Founded in 2021 by Antonio Berga, Carlos Serrano, and Tomás Gil, the company is focused on transforming and optimizing processes for finance departments. The startup already serves 150 corporate clients across Europe, including notable names such as Playtomic, Cabify, Wallapop, and Fever.

🇩🇪 Munich-based RobCo, specializing in affordable and integrated robotics automation for SMEs, has raised $42.5 million, bringing its total funding to over $60 million. The funding was led by Lightspeed, with Sequoia, Kindred, and Promus also participating.
In my opinion, it's a smart move for RobCo to focus on producing customizable robotic solutions for SMEs. While large companies have the resources to customize robots, small businesses do not… so there might exist a great market opportunity in this space.
