SERIES B AND LATER
Paris-based Pigment raises €133 million to redefine business planning
🇫🇷 Pigment, a Paris-based startup that provides financial planning and forecasting software for large companies, has raised €133 million.
I would say that, in Europe, encountering such large funding rounds is quite rare outside the realms of buzzwords (e.g., AI) or companies that require significant capital expenditure (CAPEX).
The reason why Pigment has been able to close such a large amount of funding is because, in 2023, the startup managed to triple its revenue and double its customer base with well-known clients like Unilever, Datadog, Kayak and Merck. Half of Pigment’s clients are based in the United States.
