SERIES B AND LATER
Berlin-based Parloa raises €105 million to reinvent customer experience with agentic AI

🇩🇪 Berlin-based Parloa, which provides AI agents to automate and personalise customer service, has raised €105 million in a Series C funding round, bringing its valuation to €881 million. 🚀

Founded in 2018 by Malte Kosub and Stefan Ostwald, Parloa’s AI Agent Management Platform allows enterprises to easily build, test and deploy AI agents that engage in natural, personalised conversations with customers.

According to Gartner, “By 2029, agentic AI will autonomously resolve 80% of common customer service issues without human intervention.” That seems very, very plausible from my perspective.

Using AI to enhance customer experience makes sense both from a business standpoint—mainly due to cost reductions—and from the customer standpoint, as it delivers a tailored experience.

The global AI agents market was valued at approximately $5.4 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $50.3 billion by 2030, reflecting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 45.8% from 2025 to 2030.

SERIES A
London-based StackOne raises €17.6 million to enable companies to ship hundreds of integrations in days by leveraging AI

🇬🇧 London-based StackOne, a startup that makes it easy for enterprises to quickly and securely integrate with a vast range of APIs, has successfully raised €17.6 million in a Series A funding round.

This startup was founded on the belief that AI agents are the missing piece product teams need to build faster, more secure API integrations at scale. Their solution combines a proprietary AI agent and real-time engine to give teams the speed, coverage and reliability to connect SaaS and AI agents to the enterprise tech stack.

“StackOne solves all of this in a single layer—one that marks the birth of a new generation of integration platforms for an AI-first world,” says Guillaume Lebedel, co-founder and CTO.

From my perspective, there’s no doubt that AI agents and Model Context Protocols (MCPs) open the door to new ways of integrating with a huge variety of apps and services. We’ll be following this startup closely! đź’Ş

SEED
Eindhoven-based eyeo raises €15 million to boost light sensitivity, color accuracy, and resolution

🇳🇱 Eindhoven-based eyeo, a company that builds nanophotonic image sensors to dramatically boost resolution and low-light performance without increasing camera size, has successfully raised €15 million in an oversubscribed seed round.

This startup—building on technology originally developed at imec (the world-renowned nanoelectronics R&D centre)—aims to achieve a photonics breakthrough by replacing traditional colour filters with a colour-splitting architecture based on vertical waveguides.

It turns out that most image sensors use a Bayer filter (check out this great video for more context)—a red–green–blue mosaic—that absorbs a large portion of incoming light, reducing sensitivity and limiting how small pixels can get. Eyeo replaces that filter with vertical waveguides that separate light by colour and guide each wavelength straight to its own pixel. The result is true full-colour data capture with higher sensitivity and finer detail.

The global image sensor market size is estimated to be in the range of $26.75 billion to $33.3 billion for 2025. It’s a big market.

PRE-SEED
Ghent-based Cavell raises €1.5 million to automatically create structured patient reports

🇧🇪 Ghent-based Cavell, a digital HealthTech startup that listens to medical consultations and automatically creates structured patient reports, has successfully raised €1.5 million.

Cavell was founded about a year ago by Anthony Rathé, Pieter Olivier, and Louis Verdonckt to tackle one of the biggest pain points in healthcare: administrative overload and poor medical data quality.

The solution provided by this startup listens during consultations, surgeries, or nurse rounds and automatically generates a medical report that goes straight into the patient's file.

It's an incredibly simple idea that I believe targets a very real problem.
