SERIES B AND LATER
Stockholm-based Neko Health raises €250 million to expand its revolutionary preventive healthcare technology
🇸🇪 Stockholm-based Neko Health, the preventative healthcare technology company co-founded by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek (founder and CEO of Spotify), has raised €250 million in a Series B funding round.
Less than two years after launching, this startup has completed 10,000 scans across two locations (Stockholm and London). They also report a waitlist of over 100,000 pending scans (including me and my girlfriend 🖐️), prompting plans to expand with the newly raised funds.
Even more remarkable is that 80% of their customers book and prepay for a scan the following year at the end of their appointment. That’s certainly impressive and undoubtedly good for the company’s cash flow.
Neko Health’s mission is to keep people healthy with prevention and early detection. Each scan costs about €350 and takes only a few minutes. 🚀

Spanish market leader in embedded insurance Weecover raises €4.2 million
🇪🇸 Barcelona-based Weecover, the Spanish market leader in embedded insurance, has raised a €4.2 million round to expand its insurance products and services.
Founded in 2019, this startup provides a wide range of APIs and technology solutions to connect insurers with consumer distributors (essentially, companies that sell insurance directly or indirectly to consumers) in a fast, competitive, and secure way.
Their customers primarily include retail companies, e-commerce platforms, financial institutions, and digital applications. The funding press release highlights some big names, such as PcComponentes, FNAC, Decathlon, seQura, and insurance companies like Mapfre, Línea Directa, and LagunAro.
Weecover also operates in international markets, including Portugal, France, Andorra, and Mexico. By the end of 2024, its platform had processed more than 100,000 insurance contracts annually. Bra-vo! 👏

🇪🇸 Barcelona-based Zynap, a cybersecurity startup leveraging Gen-AI to fight cybercrime proactively by simulating cyber threat tactics, has raised €5.7 million.
This startup was founded last year by Daniel Solís, who previously sold a startup in the cybersecurity space. Yet, they have already managed to raise a very promising seed funding round.
Zynap aims to redefine threat intelligence with technology that provides actionable and hard-to-access operational insights. However, I couldn’t find much information about its product yet—it’s set to launch in less than 10 days. We’ll be following them closely! 👀
